The Draft Budget includes £120m for local capital transport grants, funding EV charging, bus infrastructure, and active travel projects. A £25m road improvement fund aims to upgrade 100km of strategic roads, reducing potholes and improving safety.

Road and Bus Service Enhancements Support Rail Progress
Local councils will receive £5m to enable £60m of self-financed investments for road maintenance. An additional £9m will support bus services, including the Bus Bill and concessionary fare schemes, ensuring accessibility for all communities.
