In two tram accidents that occurred this morning in Warsaw and Lodz, a total of 14 people were injured. In both cases, one tram collided with the rear of another tram, this information was reported by Railway Supply , citing Raport Kolejowy.

Warsaw Tram Accident

Five people were injured in a collision on the Gdansk Bridge in Warsaw. According to TVN24, the incident occurred around 8:00 at the Gdansk Bridge stop towards the Radosław roundabout.

A tram collided with the rear of a stopped tram on line No. 1.

Among the injured are the tram No. 6 driver and four passengers. According to Mateusz Dutkiewicz, spokesperson for Tramwaje Warszawskie, all services, as well as the emergency technical service of TW, are working at the scene.

Tram movement is experiencing difficulties.

Lodz Tram Accident

Around 8:00, a similar incident occurred in Lodz at al. Piłsudskiego. Tram No. 10, heading towards Widzew, collided with the stationary tram No. 18.

The accident closely resembles the one in Warsaw, with one tram crashing into another at a stop.

As a result of the incident, nine people were injured. Three were hospitalized, and first aid was provided on-site to the remaining six.

The injured suffered head and limb injuries, as well as general contusions.
