Traders Blame Kazakh Railways for Disrupting Freight Plans

Kazakh entrepreneurs are increasingly voicing serious concerns about shipping goods for export via railway transportation, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.
Businessmen accuse ‘Kazakh Railways’ of intentionally derailing freight plans, prolonging the approval process, reducing shipment volumes by 60%, and freezing container transport.

The Ministry of Trade in Kazakhstan has responded to the traders’ complaints.
The ministry has reached an agreement with the railway authorities to adjust the plan for providing freight shippers with wagons for exporting products.
“As a result, the situation regarding the shipment of export goods should improve in the coming month,” the ministry assures.
