The winners of the prestigious Rail Business Awards 2024 were announced in Manchester on February 22nd, 2024, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The awards, organized by the industry magazine Railway Gazette International, recognize companies operating in the UK transportation sector.

This year, awards were presented in 20 categories. Among the winners were Stadler and VolkerFitzpatrick for their creation of a modern depot in Gosforth, VTG Rail and Knorr-Bremse for innovative digital train technologies, GB Railfreight for their innovative technical maintenance center in Peterborough, CAF for successful train deliveries to regions in the UK. Additionally, MTR (Elizabeth Line) received recognition along with special awards given to Greater Anglia, Lumo, Nexus, Furrer + Frey, and Fugro for asset management and technical service solutions, and Great Western Railway for their development of a super-fast battery train charging system.

A special mention was also given to the best young professional from Alstom Transport.
