The Warsolino tram by Korean Hyundai Rotem has been put into operation in Warsaw

The tram network operator, Tramwaje Warszawskie, announced the completion of the trial for the latest three-section vehicle, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Currently, Warsaw has 85 bidirectional and 18 unidirectional five-section trams, along with 20 unidirectional three-section trams.
A notable feature of Warsolino is its 120m autonomous travel capability, facilitated by supercapacitors from Polish Medcom.
The €430 million contract for 123 trams was signed in 2019, with the first tram in service in December 2021 and deliveries completed by October 2023.
The tram fleet now comprises 434 low-floor and 165 high-floor vehicles, and there are plans for a tender to supply 20 low-floor trams with an option for an additional 140 units.
