The volume of railway transportation along the Middle Corridor increased by 86%

In 2023, 2.8 million tons of cargo were transported via the Trans-Caspian international transport route, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Deputy Head of Kazakhstan Railways, Erlan Koishibayev, reported that this is 1.3 million tons or 86% more than the previous year.
Koishibayev noted that the route currently provides a competitive delivery time, averaging 12 days.
