The Turkish company Ozbir Vagon has successfully produced new track machines for Switzerland as part of a project for the national operator SBB Bahninfrastruktur, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

A total of 8 machines for servicing the catenary and 28 railway cranes were produced.

Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadır Uraloğlu stated that the assembly of this rolling stock will bring an additional benefit of €7 million to the country’s economy.

Additionally, Ozbir Vagon is involved in a project with the American company Harsco Rail, supplying 59 units of track equipment for SBB Bahninfrastruktur.

The company also continues to work on contracts with Deutsche Bahn for the supply of driver’s cabins for €5 million and with Swiss Muller Technologies for locomotive cabins for €1.5 million.
