The trials of the first hydrogen train by CRRC
25.03.2024
The first hydrogen train developed by the Chinese company CRRC has successfully completed trials in Jilin Province, located in Northeastern China, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
During the tests, conducted at a speed of 160 km/h with full load, all technical specifications of the train were thoroughly checked.
The test results confirmed the train’s compliance with the declared characteristics, emphasizing its efficiency and reliability.
The uniqueness of this train lies in its ability to operate on hydrogen fuel, making it environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.
Thanks to the hybrid power supply system and multiple energy storage units, the train can cover significant distances without refueling or connecting to the power grid.
The new train boasts a high maximum speed and can operate in a wide temperature range, making it a versatile mode of transportation for various climatic conditions.
The hydrogen train project is the result of CRRC’s long-term work and innovative developments.
Such technologies help reduce environmental pollution and contribute to the sustainable development of the transportation industry.
With the successful completion of the CRRC hydrogen train trials, a new era in the development of clean and efficient railway technology opens, aimed at improving the ecological situation and reducing dependence on traditional fuel sources.
