02.02.2022
Once again Ukrzaliznytsia postponed the purchase of 80 electric trains in the amount of UAH 31.5 billion.

It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to ProZorro.
Changes to the tender documentation were made on January 26. The company will accept tender proposals until February 8, the auction is scheduled for March 16. Note that the previous auction was supposed to take place on February 28.
The winning company must hand over the electric trains to Ukrzaliznytsia within the same period – by December 30, 2026.
As previously reported, for the first time, UZ extended the deadline for submitting proposals for a tender in October, and for the second time – in early December. The third delay came in mid-December.
Subsequently, the company explained the reasons for the transfers by the active interest of potential participants and the desire to attract the widest possible range of global manufacturers.
