Participants will undergo a rigorous training program, including more than 1,100 hours of theoretical and practical instruction.
Upon completion of the program, they will become the first female high-speed train drivers not only in Saudi Arabia but also in the Middle East.
This step is part of Renfe’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia, where the company already plays a key role in operating the Haramain high-speed railway.
It is worth noting that Renfe is not limited to transportation tasks: it is also actively involved in training and recruiting over 800 local specialists in various departments.
The training program, which began in 2024, has become one of Renfe’s most large-scale and successful initiatives abroad, highlighting the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in the modern world.
