The occupiers took up the export of oil from the Pologovsky oil extraction plant
11.05.2022
Russian invaders continue to steal Ukrainian products from the temporarily occupied territories. This time we are talking about the products of the Pologovsky oil extraction plant (Zaporizhzhiaregion).
Lyudmila Denisova, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, wrote about this on Facebook, reports Railway Supply magazine.
According to the official, oil is being taken out of the plant. The company prepared the products for shipment to foreign partners who already lack high-quality Ukrainian products. “Before the occupation, it was one of the largest budget-forming enterprises in the Pologovsky district,” she stressed.
Lyudmila Denisova also reminded that Ukraine is the world’s largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil. Since the beginning of Russian military aggression, exports have declined significantly. Europe is already preparing for a shortage of this product.
On the website of the Pologovsky oil extraction plant, it is noted that the enterprise is one of the largest in Europe in the processing of oilseeds.
It is interesting that, according to some reports, the enterprise is actually owned by the daughter of the Russian deputy of the Belgorod Regional Duma, Leonid Novikov, through Von Sass AG company that is registered in Switzerland. The fact that the beneficiary of the Ukrainian enterprise is a British citizen Svetlana Novikova is also mentioned by Latifundist.
Recall that the Russian occupation troops took out from Ukraine about 400 thousand tons of grain. In addition, about 4.5 million tons of grain are blocked in Ukrainian ports. At the same time, it became known that the aggressor was exporting grain from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
