Orders and delivery of freight wagons in Europe
This collaborative effort, the first outside of Plasser American’s production facility, involved a three-year partnership between Union Pacific specialists and Plasser American engineers.
Changes were made to the cabin, improving accessibility, expanding the operator’s visibility, and enhancing ventilation.
Additionally, modifications were implemented to enhance serviceability, including the rearrangement of valves, hoses, pipelines, electrical panels, and pumps.
The incorporation of telescopic equipment and optimization of manual operations significantly improved the machine’s technical specifications.
Executing the project required over 3000 components supplied by Plasser American, and the utilization of 3D modeling technologies at every stage demonstrated an innovative approach to modernization.
This successful collaboration sets new prospects for advancing railway technologies and improving the efficiency of railway track maintenance.
