The Kyrgyz Railways increased freight transportation volume by 16.8% over the year, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

In 2023, the Kyrgyz Railways transported 9.367 million tons of cargo.

This is 1.345 million tons or 16.8% more than the previous year.

Meanwhile, the volume of railway imports increased by 16.9% over the year, and exports by 45.6%.
