During the meeting of the railway workers with the grain workers on Thursday, November 17, the issue of transferring grain in non-specialized wagons (gondola cars, cement wagons and mineral wagons) to Poland was partially resolved. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Rail.insider.

The decision concerns cargo not intended for human consumption. It can be transferred after putting the appropriate mark in the documents.

“TM (TM Soft – ed.) has developed a mark 232, which marks grain not for food purposes. There are no claims to receive such grain. Therefore, I urge senders who sent grain not for food purposes towards the LHS before November 15, contact the departure station, give a telegram to Izov so that this mark is entered in your shipping document. This will allow the wagons to be transferred to LHS now. To date, more than 500 wagons have been blocked. We were waiting for a decision. It has been found,” said Valery Tkachev.

However, he noted that this does not apply to the food group. A meeting is being held on this matter.

“I want to inform you that today in Hrubieszów there is a meeting of representatives of UZ and LHS with the participation of sanitary services. I hope that by the evening there may be a solution,” he said.

Recall that the issue arose in early November due to the disagreement of the Polish sanitary service to accept grain in a rolling stock not intended for its transportation.
