Employees of the Office of the Director for Economic and Information Security of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” discovered a scheme for embezzlement of the company’s funds. Thus, the head of one of the production units of the regional branch of the Southern Railway entered into an agreement with a group of persons and entered false information in the timesheets during 2018-2020. This information was verified by the SBU. It was confirmed that in fact these employees did not fulfill their official duties, were absent from their workplaces, moreover, they were abroad. Thus, about 50 workers illegally and unjustifiably received wages. Law enforcement agencies have been notified of this case.
