This estimate was presented by the Indian company Amber Group with a horizon of 5-6 years.

In April of this year, Amber Group entered into a strategic partnership with South Korean Yujin Machinery to launch the production of gearboxes, couplers, and pantographs for passenger rolling stock, including the Indian national train platform Vande Bharat.

Turkey, Iraq, Qatar, and the UAE will lay a new trade route from Asia to Europe

This deal is part of Amber Group’s strategy to expand its capabilities in the production of rail equipment components, against the backdrop of impressive growth in the Indian market and requirements for production localization in the country.

Starting out as a supplier of climate systems and their units for various industries and the consumer market, Amber Group currently owns 27 manufacturing facilities.

Additionally, earlier this year, Amber Group also formed a joint venture with Indian manufacturer Titagarh Rail Systems.

One of the main directions of this collaboration is to expand the production of passenger rolling stock, including electric trains and metro cars.

The Indian rolling stock components market continues to attract the attention of global players, and the partnership between Amber Group and Yujin Machinery opens up new prospects for the development of this industry in India.
