The changes will come into force in March 2022 – six months after the official publication of the Decision of the EEC Council. For certain items of the list of objects, which are subject to the requirements of TR CU 001/2011, the changes will come into force after 18 months.

• On the safety of high-speed railway transport (TR CU 002/2011)
• On the safety of the railway transport infrastructure (TR CU 003/2011)

Also, the EEC Council changed section II of the plan for the development of technical regulations of the EEC and amending them (57 of 06/23/2021): by the IV quarter of 2023, it is planned to develop Amendment 2, including in terms of establishing mechanisms for extending the service life of railway equipment.

The Union of Rail Vehicles Manufacturers will take an active part in the development of the next changes in technical regulations.
