These new trams, scheduled for operation from mid-2026, measure 32.4 meters in length, 2.4 meters in width, and can accommodate 196 passengers.
The innovative design of Citadis includes four low-level opening doors with buttons for the convenience of passengers with limited mobility.
Equipped with LED lighting, comfortable seats, and dedicated spaces for disabled individuals and baby strollers, these trams, made from 95% recyclable components, demonstrate environmental consideration.
The production of Citadis involves several Alstom facilities in France, with La Rochelle handling design and assembly, and Villeurbanne responsible for onboard electronics and safety systems.
Launched in 2000, Alstom’s Citadis trams have gained trust, being sold in over 70 cities across 20 countries, highlighting the high quality and innovations of the French manufacturer in urban transport.
