The contract for the supply of unmanned metro trains

Alstom Transport India Limited has signed a contract to supply 10 unmanned metro trains to Chennai Metro Rail Limited in India, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The deal, valued at INR 2.69 billion ($32 million), encompasses design, manufacturing, and maintenance over a 28-month period.
The transit cargo flow through Iran has increased by 28.2%
Staff training and spare parts delivery are also included in the agreement.
The rolling stock will be serviced at the new depot in Poonamallee.
In November 2022, Alstom previously secured a $98 million contract for supplying 26 three-car trains for the Chennai metro.
