The capacity of the Aktau port is planned to increase by 1.4 times within a year, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Currently, the capabilities of the Kazakhstani Aktau port allow for handling and shipping up to 70,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) annually.
It is expected that after the upgrade of the handling equipment fleet in 2025, this figure will rise by 43% to 100,000 TEU per year.
