The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has continued the reservation of railway workers from mobilization

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to continue the reservation from mobilization for certain categories of conscripts, including railway workers, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

This is stated on the website of the Government of Ukraine.

“In accordance with Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On mobilization training and mobilization,’ the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolves: to establish that the validity period of deferments from military service during mobilization, granted to conscripted employees of state joint-stock companies operating in the railway transport sector, by the relevant decisions of the Ministry of Economy according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 27, 2023, No. 76 ‘Some issues of implementing the provisions of the Law of Ukraine ‘On mobilization training and mobilization’ on the reservation of conscripts for the period of mobilization for military time,’ which have not expired on the day of adoption of this resolution, are automatically extended for one month,” the document says.

Resolution No. 492 was published on May 3, 2024.
