Dmitry Zverev, Deputy Minister of Transport of the aggressor country, and the Transport Ministers of Uzbekistan, Ihlom Makhkamov, and Kyrgyzstan, Tilek Tekibaev, signed a memorandum at the SCO forum in Tashkent for the formation and development of the multimodal transport corridor ‘Russia – Caspian Sea – Turkmenistan – Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan.’, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Representatives of the leadership of Russian and Uzbek transport authorities and Talgat Lastaev, Deputy Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan, also signed a memorandum for the creation and development of the transport corridor ‘Belarus – Russia – Kazakhstan – Uzbekistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan,’ as reported by @LogiStan.
The Head of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport suggested to his counterparts to focus on building multimodal logistics centers along international transport corridors and near the borders.
