The model is designed for transporting 12-, 20-, 30-, and 40-foot containers. Its structural flexibility and multiple loading options support efficient logistics operations.

The TVP BOX Carrier platform features eight axles, a tare weight of 30.8 tons, and a load capacity of 149.2 tons. The axle load limit of 22.5 tons meets current European standards.

Tatravagonka Expands Capabilities of TVP BOX Carrier Platform

TVP BOX Carrier is suitable for more than just standard containers. It can also handle steel plates, coils, and tank containers, thanks to its foldable fitting supports.

Additionally, the wagon is compatible with modular bodies such as Grainbox hoppers, making it ideal for transporting bulk agricultural goods. It also allows for the loading of oversized containers that extend beyond the platform’s edges.

The platform is designed for operational versatility, supporting a wide range of cargo types, including heavy and non-standard freight. This enhances its appeal for commercial logistics.

Tatravagonka Adapts Platform for Digital Coupling Integration

The manufacturer has engineered the platform for compatibility with Digital Automatic Coupling (DAC), a technology being adopted across the European Union. The standard model features a screw coupling but can be upgraded as needed.

This forward-compatible design increases the platform’s long-term value and allows operators to plan for future integration with digital rail technologies.
