The “Center for Transport Logistics” branch of Ukrzaliznytsia conducted a tender to procure 115 tank cars for 1435 mm gauge track, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Tank Cars for Ukrzaliznytsia

The Slovak rolling stock manufacturer, Tatravagonka a.s., emerged as the winner of the tender.

The purchase amount totals 12,569,500 euros.

The manufacturer is expected to deliver the rolling stock by the end of the current year.

As previously reported, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to acquire 120 tank cars for European railroads.
