Alstom has secured a major contract with Southern California’s Metrolink, expanding its operational responsibilities. This five-year agreement, valued at $515 million (€490 million), will run from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030, and employs over 400 team members. Metrolink’s decision builds on Alstom’s 26 years of maintenance service for their fleet.

This contract enhances Alstom’s role, moving beyond maintenance to include full operations across Metrolink’s system. Alstom plans to retain 180 employees and hire 200 more for the expanded scope.
