The agreement includes the integration of the European Train Control System (ETCS) into 15 track maintenance machines.

This marks Škoda Group’s first contract in the Swiss market, following their acquisition of The Signalling Company in 2023.

In the initial phase, ETCS will be implemented in four machines, with plans for equipping 11 more in the future.

This move will strengthen Škoda Group’s position in the rolling stock market, reaffirming their experience in installing ETCS systems for railway operators in Europe.
