SITAV President Antonio Ghillia noted that the locomotive is intended for use in non-electrified areas such as terminals, industrial zones, and seaports.

The solution targets emission reduction in high-traffic logistics areas where electrification is either unfeasible or economically unjustified.

SITAV aims to implement clean technologies and promote hydrogen-powered solutions in shunting operations, reducing diesel dependency.
