31.08.2023
The Mayor of Kharkiv talks about the differences from a regular school, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.
In Kharkiv, education for students will take place in a remote format, but if desired, children will be able to attend lessons in the metro in person.
Compared to a regular school, the school in Kharkiv Metro differs in that there are no physical education classes.
The city head of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, spoke about this on the “We-Ukraine” TV channel.
According to him, the school in the metro will start operating as of tomorrow, September 1st.
“Those who wanted their children to study online will study online. Those who wanted blended learning, we have provided such an opportunity, and children will be able to study in a combined mode. A school bus will circulate, picking up children from schools and delivering them under police escort to the metro station,” he said.
