SBU caught a saboteur who was preparing explosions on the Odessa railway
01.11.2022
An agent of the GRU of the Russian Federation was detained in the Odessa region. More than 3 kg of TNT, an anti-tank mine and fuses were confiscated from him. He collected intelligence on the transportation of military equipment, weapons, ammunition and fuel along the Odessa railway. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Sprotiv.info.
He planned to transfer the information to the military intelligence of the Russian Federation for the preparation of explosions on the main logistics routes of the Defense Forces in the south. The agent installed two cameras near the railway track in the suburbs of Odessa to track the movement of rolling stock and receive photos through a mobile application.
For the sake of conspiracy, the Russian agent constantly changed his appearance and channels of communication with the Russian curator. SBU officers detained him while setting up a remote monitoring device near the railway.
