Over the next two days, veterinary, sanitary, and phytosanitary controls will be shifted from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) for agricultural goods headed to the port.

Using bogies for rearranging wagons on European tracks

This initiative aims to expedite the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Poland.

The corresponding agreement was reached during the latest online meeting on October 3rd between the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland, Robert Telus, and the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, Kęstutis Navickas.

Mykola Solskyi announced that Ukraine proposes relocating veterinary, sanitary, and phytosanitary control from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the Lithuanian port.

Robert Telus and Kęstutis Navickas supported this initiative and consider it a constructive step.

As reported earlier, Poland plans to transfer control over the transit of Ukrainian grain to Germany and Lithuania.
