During loading and unloading operations and at the places of movement (stop) of the military echelons of the Russian Federation at the stations of the Belarusian railway, ammunition often remains “lost”.

Ammunition at railway stations

This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to @belzhd_live.

For example, on April 26, 2022, during a commercial inspection of the composition of train No. 2744 on track 33 of the receiving and departure depot No. 1 of the Minsk-Sortirovochny station, anobject was found between tracks No. 33 and 34.

The place was fenced off, police officers guarded the area. Upon examination by the demining team, the object was identified as a projectile.

Evacuation was not carried out, a break in the movement of trains was not allowed.

Such cases are carefully hidden. If an event is recorded in the Automated train safety control system, then they simply indicate that the ammunition is from the time of the Second World War.
