Restrictions on rail transportation of coal to Slovakia lifted

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has revised the imposed restrictions on freight traffic to Slovakia, reports railway magazine Railway Supply with a link to the company’s website.
At present, the convention on the transportation of coal from the Russian Federation to Slovakia, to US Steel Kosice, has been canceled. Please note that it was valid from February 6 until cancelled.
In addition, the Decree dated February 11 amended the restrictions on the transportation of ore from Ukraine and the Russian Federation to the address of the Slovak enterprise.
Now they concern only the transportation of iron ore concentrate, and the loading of iron and sinter ore is allowed.
