The representation of Ukrainian Railways (UZ) abroad has revealed its main mission, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Among the key tasks of Ukrainian Railways’ representation abroad is the establishment of a fully functional international office that will address international issues.

This includes negotiations at the European Union level and providing assistance to carriers in resolving various operational matters.

Poland Opens Terminal with Broad and Narrow Gauges

Furthermore, the office will participate in the development of significant projects involving Ukrainian Railways with EU countries.

There are also plans to open an international representation of Ukrainian Railways in Brussels, Belgium, in the future.

The representation office is located in Warsaw and is led by Alexandra Vasylenko.

Currently, the formation of the representation team is underway.

It’s worth noting that as part of Ukrainian Railways’ international activities, Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland LLC has been established.

This is an operator of Ukrainian Railways that operates within EU countries and provides logistics for goods originating from Ukraine.
