RegioJet’s executive director, Jakub Svoboda, mentioned that this investment could partially relieve the congestion at the Peremyshl station in Poland and bring the launch of the Kiev-Berlin train service closer.

However, he noted that discussions with Ukrainian Railways are currently stalled.

RegioJet hopes to resume talks soon and emphasizes the speed at which the project could be implemented if cooperation is secured.

The proposed terminal construction could facilitate the launch of the Kiev-Berlin route and enhance other RegioJet services.

Svoboda expressed optimism that the project will receive support from the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure, which would accelerate its implementation.

Additionally, he highlighted that RegioJet has obtained all necessary permissions to operate trains to Germany via Poland.
