Purchase of Bidirectional Trams, 45 meters long

Gdansk is considering acquiring up to 16 bidirectional trams, each 45 meters in length, within the next 2-3 years, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The president of the city’s transportation authority, GAiT, Mateusz Lisicki, revealed this in an interview with the Transport Publiczny portal.

He mentioned that the funding for the purchase has not been approved yet. Additionally, before announcing the tender, it is necessary to construct a new depot capable of accommodating 40 trams of this length.
