In western Kazakhstan, there are plans to establish a railway wagon production facility costing $165.5 million, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

In the Atyrau region, a manufacturing workshop is set to be opened, aiming to produce up to 6,000 railway wagons annually.

The governor of the region, Serik Shapkenov, announced that the project’s implementation is scheduled in stages from 2024 to 2026, with an estimated cost of 76 billion tenge.
