Rolling stock production in Russia According to the railway magazine Railway Supply referring to the “Technics of Railways” magazine.

  • freight cars: 5.8 thousand units (+15.0% versus September 2020), in January- September 45.7 thousand units (+10.1% versus January- September 2020)
  • mainline electric locomotives: 31 units (+3.3%), in January- September 205 units (-15.6%)
  • mainline diesel locomotives: 27 sections (+50.0%), in January- September 173 sections (+13.1%)
