Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Highlights India’s Progress

PM Modi emphasized India’s advancements in technology, renewable energy, and transportation during the event. He noted India’s achievements in metro networks, bullet train projects, and indigenous fighter aircraft production.

The 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas theme, “The Diaspora’s Contribution to a Viksit Bharat,” underscores the diaspora’s pivotal role in nation-building. Participants from over 50 countries gathered to share their insights and celebrate their heritage.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Railways, described the Pravasi Bharatiya Express as a symbolic bridge connecting India and its global community. He stated, “The train offers a unique opportunity to explore India’s essence.”
