COSCO SHIPPING has already established itself as a reliable and proven partner for PKP CARGO.
This is confirmed by the fact that the Polish company owns 20% of the shares in the group’s Polish subsidiary, COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Poland).
Such a partnership allows both parties to effectively coordinate their efforts and improve the quality of their services.
Global Scope and Capabilities
COSCO SHIPPING ranks fourth in the world among shipowners and operates in 40 countries.
Its fleet consists of about 480 container ships, enabling the company to provide global logistics chains and effectively handle large-scale tasks.

Growth in Transport Volumes
Cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING is already yielding tangible results.
In the first quarter of 2024, PKP CARGO transported 1.6 million tons of cargo on multimodal routes, which is almost 29% more compared to the same period in 2023.
Such significant growth indicates the high potential and effectiveness of the joint efforts of both companies.

The development of multimodal transport will optimize logistics chains, reduce delivery times, and improve customer service quality.
Additionally, such cooperation will contribute to the development of economic ties between Europe and China, strengthening trade and transport routes.
In the long term, strengthening the partnership and expanding cooperation could lead to new investments and projects aimed at improving infrastructure and expanding logistics capabilities in the region.
This will open new horizons for business development and strengthen positions in the global freight transport market.
Thus, the partnership between PKP CARGO and COSCO SHIPPING is an important step towards the integration and development of global logistics chains, which will bring significant benefits and prospects to both companies and their customers worldwide.
