Pesa has won a tender for the supply of 62 regional electric trains to Romania

The cost of the largest contract in the company’s history will be approximately €670 million, with a 30-year maintenance agreement for the supplied rolling stock, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
However, another participant in the bidding, Alstom, may still file an appeal.
The acquisition of the trains will be financed through European funds.
Earlier, Pesa also secured a victory in another competition to supply up to 29 trains to Romania.
