From April 28, railway communication from Sumy to the capital of Ukraine will be resumed without transfers.

Rail traffic resumption

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmitry Zhivitsky, wrote about this on Facebook, reports Railway Supply magazine.

Note that the railway communication between the capital of Ukraine and Sumy was interrupted on the very first day of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine on February 24th.

From April 28, train No. 779/780 will run daily on Sumy-Kyiv route.

The train will depart from Sumy at 07:07, from the city of Vorozhba — at 08:22, from the city of Konotop — at 09:38, from the city of Nizhyn — at 11:04. Arrival in Kyiv – at 13:00

The train will depart from the capital at 14:41, from the city of Nizhyn – at 16:38, from the city of Konotop – at 18:04, from the city of Vorozhba – at 19:36. Arrival in Sumy at 20:33.

On April 14, the Slobozhansky Express resumed movement in the Sumy region.
