Located between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the 14.7-mile line supports both commercial and farming industries in the Santa Maria Valley, with direct interchange access to Union Pacific in Guadalupe.

The new partnership with Coast Belle Rail Corp.—which owned the 114-year-old railroad for the past 20 years—aims to enhance service quality and infrastructure investment in the region.

Rob Himoto, President of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad, emphasized the strategic value of the collaboration. “We chose OmniTRAX because of their capacity to grow with us and their shared values,” he said.

This deal marks the 30th railroad in the OmniTRAX portfolio, following last month’s acquisition of the Port Muskogee Railroad. The company continues expanding in key logistics markets across the United States.
