Launched for the first time on December 10th on the Vienna-Hamburg and Innsbruck-Hamburg routes, Siemens Mobility trains promise comfort and innovation, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Nightjet marks a new era in the development of railway travel

Comprising seven cars with various seating options, from sitting areas to sleeper capsules for individual passengers, Nightjet aims to cater to diverse needs.

The railway research project from Albania to Kosovo has been launched

Plans include not only passenger comforts but also equipping the train with spaces for bicycles, facilities for people with disabilities, and specialized compartments for luggage, skis, and snowboards.

Presented by OBB and Siemens Mobility, these trains will provide a new level of service and connectivity between Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

The launch of an additional 33 Nightjet trains is planned by the end of 2025.
