“NIBULON” transported almost 30 thousand tons of grain by rail with assistance from USAID

In August, the agroholding “NIBULON” received its first grain wagons as part of the USAID project, transporting approximately 30 thousand tons of grain, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Thanks to USAID assistance, “NIBULON” acquired 50 modern hopper cars.
The Bosnian railway line has reopened
The company now uses them to transport grain from blocked river ports to the ports of the Danube, reloading onto barges and delivering to 25 countries worldwide.
Since August, when the company received the first hopper cars, they have transported around 30 thousand tons of Ukrainian grain.
With the new grain wagons from the USAID project, “NIBULON’s” rail fleet now comprises 212 units.
Thus, the company’s fleet volume has increased by almost 25%.
In the coming year, the agroholding plans to continue collaboration with over 3 thousand farms and aims to export 200 to 300 thousand tons of grain monthly, constituting over 7% of total exports.
