Metrolinx also speeds up three morning trips and one afternoon rush-hour trip as express services. Consequently, these upgrades enhance efficiency alongside the additional daily trains.
New GO Trains Expand Kitchener Line Services
Lakeshore West Line commuters in Mississauga and Toronto encounter service tweaks this week. Specifically, two late-evening trains switch to GO buses Monday through Thursday.
Construction at Long Branch GO triggers the bus replacements during those weekdays for commuters. Additionally, some Lakeshore West trips adjust by up to six minutes earlier or later.
Cyclists benefit as bike coaches join trains heading to Niagara Falls this spring and summer. These enhancements cater to seasonal travelers exploring the scenic route with ease.
Across the Greater Toronto Area, GO lines roll out multiple impactful service improvements this month. For example, Mississauga riders enjoy benefits extending beyond the Kitchener Line.
A fresh Route 25K links Toronto Premium Outlets directly to Kipling station’s TTC subway. This weekend service, running April 5 to August 24, connects Square One too.
Shoppers also reach Renforth Transitway and Kipling GO via the convenient Route 25K option. As a result, weekend outings become simpler for Mississauga and Toronto residents.
New GO Trains Support Seasonal Routes
Canada’s Wonderland opens Routes 47 and 52, running weekends from May 10 to August 24. These seasonal services ensure families access the amusement park without hassle.
Likewise, Route 96 delivers Toronto Zoo visitors on weekends from April 5 to August 24. So, this route simplifies trips for zoo fans throughout spring and summer months.
Metrolinx keeps expanding transit choices, meeting rising demand across the Greater Toronto Area. Thus, New GO trains offer more flexibility for Mississauga and Brampton commuters.
Improved schedules and fresh routes showcase Metrolinx’s focus on enhancing public transit access. For now, riders adjust to updates while enjoying better links to key spots.
These changes streamline travel times, ensuring smoother trips for daily commuters and weekend adventurers alike. Ultimately, the expanded network strengthens transportation for everyone in the region.
