The plant will produce sensors and electronic systems for railways. This facility will enable Frauscher to serve customers not only in India but also in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other emerging international markets.
Construction of the plant as an element of sustainable development
The project includes full wastewater treatment with reuse, as well as rooftop solar panels. These solutions will reduce energy consumption and minimize the carbon footprint.
Frauscher expects the Mysuru plant to become a strategic hub for expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Localized production will cut logistics costs and speed up deliveries, which is especially important as demand for modern railway technologies grows.
The company’s leadership emphasizes that combining local manufacturing, training, and technology demonstrations will ensure competitive advantages and accelerate innovation adoption. This approach aligns with the global trend of moving production closer to target markets.
