Metro-North ridership climbed significantly in March, reaching 5.8 million trips—a 19.6% increase from February and an 8.1% rise compared to March 2024. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The average daily ridership rose to 185,866, while weekday averages hit 216,540. Weekend traffic jumped 20%, reaching 102,564, suggesting renewed public confidence.
