Members of the supervisory board for the railway company are invited to Uzbekistan

A competition has been announced in Uzbekistan to attract foreign specialists (including compatriots) to the supervisory board of the state joint-stock company Uzbekiston Temir Yullari. The main requirements are specialized education and at least 15 years of work in the industry, reports railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the media center of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC.

It is noted that the competence of the council of JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” includes the definition of priority areas of activity, the organization of the establishment of the market value of property, approval of the annual business plan and other functions.

Requirements for candidates for membership of the supervisory board include higher education, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance and economics, organization of railway transportation, and transport logistics. Doctors of Philosophy (Ph.D) or Doctor of Science (Sc.D) degrees are encouraged and will certainly be considered during the interview.

Work experience must be at least 15 years of work in transport companies in accordance with the areas of the required education for the applicant, with at least 7 years in management positions.

It is necessary to know English, knowledge of Uzbek is encouraged.

The amount of payment would be determined based on the results of the interview (face-to-face or through the videoconference).

The application deadline is March 15, 2021.

Candidate documents will be reviewed by the current members of the board and supervisory board on the basis of a commission selection.
