MagRail Technology Pilot to Transform Freight in India
16.07.2025
MagRail technology takes a major step in India as DP World, DPA, and Nevomo partner on a transformative freight project to boost efficiency, speed, and sustainability in port logistics. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
DP World, Deendayal Port Authority, and Nevomo signed an MoU in Kandla to test MagRail on existing tracks inside port ecosystems. This initiative aims to modernize freight transport and strengthen India’s logistics infrastructure.

MagRail Pilot to Boost India’s Logistics
The project involves a 750-meter MagRail pilot at Deendayal Port. It will demonstrate autonomous, electric-powered wagons operating on current rail lines, improving cargo movement without the need for new infrastructure.
