In addition, Binh Duong plans a metro line linking Thu Dau Mot to Ho Chi Minh City. The 32.4km route connects to Suoi Tien Station with double tracks.

The metro features a 1.435m gauge, hits speeds of 120km per hour, and costs $2.52 billion. Construction starts in 2027, and completion targets 2031 for full operation.

This metro includes 29.01km of main line and 3.42km of depot links for efficiency. Binh Duong expects it to transform transport and draw more investors.
